Clamps are designed to have a clamping force reserve and not break. They maintain a continuous sealing force around the hose when tightened around the joint.
Hose connestors of Camlock types are used to rapidly connect and disconnect fitting on piping or hose, they come in a variety of materials to be used with different liquids and a variety of sizes to accommodate hose or piping diameter.
